Try our new soy candles that are hand poured into our traditional stoneware julep cups. Each julep is filled with a soy candle that is non-toxic. It burns cleaner than paraffin, and is made from soybeans, which are a biodegradable substance. The soy beans used to produce these candles are grown right here in Kentucky. These long burning soy candles can burn 40-50 hours each. Once the soy candle is burned to the bottom, the lead free wick can easily be removed and you are left with a beautiful and usable stoneware julep cup that will last a lifetime.
Part of the official seal of the city of Louisville, the fleur-de-lis is a symbol that represents French aid given during the Revolutionary War. Here, the symbol takes beautiful shape with a slightly raised, shiny black glaze. Hand-painted bands of black and a glassy white overglaze lend further distinction and elegance to the pattern, a perfect token of Kentucky.
Designed for everyday enjoyment, this product can be placed in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer and refrigerator. Just remember to bring the piece to room temperature between heating and refrigerating. As with any stoneware item, extreme variations in temperature may cause cracking or breakage.

Return Policy
Louisville Stoneware's skilled artisans shape and design each piece using traditional ceramics techniques. Part of the beauty of our production process is the unpredictability. Individual craftsmanship assures that no two pieces are exactly alike. Just as design lies in the hands of our team of artisans, so does quality. At eight different points in the process, each piece is carefully inspected for flaws. Upon receipt, please inspect your piece and notify us of any damage. Refunds are available within 90 days of the date of purchase when the original invoice accompanies the return of items with their original packaging.
Personalized items are not acceptable for return unless damaged or broken upon arrival.
We will gladly return or exchange items purchased from your Louisville Stoneware Registry within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase date.
